Baptisms

Weddings

Funerals and Memorials

Baptism into the community of faith takes place during a worship service. In baptism, we are lovingly adopted by God into God’s family, which we call the Church, and given God’s own life to share and reminded that nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ. Holy Baptism, which can be performed through pouring of water or immersion in it, marks a formal entrance to the congregation and wider Church. Candidates make vows, including an affirmation of the Baptismal Covenant, and are baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are marked as Christ’s own forever, having “been clothed with Christ” (Galatians 3:27). People of any age are welcome to baptized.

Weddings are times of great celebration for a family, a community, and especially for a couple who are beginning a new life together. Holy Spirit is a beautiful venue for a wedding and the Fellowship Hall and kitchen accommodate receptions. Couples who wish to be married at Holy Spirit Church should begin by contacting the Vicar to arrange a tentative date.

Our Christian faith shapes not only our beliefs about death, but also how we celebrate the life of the one who has died.  We believe as Christ was resurrected, we too shall share in his resurrection.  Services are provided for both church members and non-members and can be scheduled by contacting the Vicar.
